Boss is just outside of Daj Inlet right beside the docks.

Heres the rundown
It takes less than a minute.Basically you go straight for the mesmer boss.

b4 you go in the mob -
cast dem flesh
troll ug
target the boss, cast life siphon
insid par
price failure
then hit troll
by this time your ready to hit grenths, hit it
then move towards the boss
hit whirl
life siph
hit w/ axe
troll
vamp touch
axe
(alternate last 2 skill/ attack, till he dies)
You should have atleast 25-200 hp left when he dies.

Would a normal Touchy build work for this?

Normal Touchy with OoB...No. Tryed.

I was able to kill him using Spoil Victor though.

My build: (same attributes)
Vamp Touch (mostly for Heal)
Vamp Bite (Again...NOT to spam, just to heal if you get low)
Insidious Parasite (To stick on him after Spoil doesnt hurt him anymore)
Spoil Victor (main dmg dealer, gets him to ~1/3hp left)
Troll Unguent (to counter degen that WILL quickly kill you)
Dodge (11 sec evade for his group)
Z haste (11 sec evade for his group)
Whirling (I worked it so whirling is the last to activate so that its -11 dmg helps after Spoil doesnt hurt him)

1)Put Troll Up, Aggro his group and throw Dodge up, Spoil Him.
2)Vamp Touch+Bite as you need alittle health boost. Put Haste on as Dodge ends. Keep Troll up through this process.
3)Go into Whirling and put Insidous on him and Vamp Touch+Bite him til he dies.

I usually have over 300hp left when he dies, vs dying with him with this method :\

If you have A/E...works so much easier. For the 2 utility skills, take obsidian flame and aftershock. Also takes less than 1 min AND you can move on to Skybringer and Sharptooth.

The A/E solo build can do this boss very easily, just aggro the mob of heket nearby.

Don't even bother with him, his drop rate is TERRIBLE. I went for him with my Derv, just any build with Mystic Regeneration, Veil of Thorns, Armor of Sanctity and Conviction will reduce all incoming damage to 0. Mystic Sweep + Eremite's Attack shuffled with normal attacks and Reaper's for deep wound will kill him in ~20 seconds.

actually its 20 seconds the time u hit aggro and kill him. I meant Under a minute from when u zone walking etc...

Are you even using max armor? I've killed him ~20 times now, still no drop.

if you pack ob flame shock and aftershock (ditch running skills) you dont need to aggro them

The 130hp Dervish can farm him. You may need to die once though.

the build doesnt work for this boss due to degen (conjure phantasm)

The 130 derv can kill mindclouder, I know, I've done it.
There are better builds for it tho, the Mystic Regen - Thorns - Sanctity - Conviction combo is better, IMO.

I use a 55 Mo/N:

Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Spoil Victor
Life Siphon
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Watchful Spirit
Mending

Kills the boss in under 30 seconds. Killed him until I got the anti-farm pop up today...no drops.

EDIT: Finally got one on around my 100th run.

i guess i am just lucky then.

i was farming skybringer when i noticed him after having some lag. He dropped it first time. I didnt even have to change my build so in all, i got a bit lucky.

here is what i used.

Edit
skills are
1. Stone Daggers
2. Glyph of renewal
3. Sliver armor
4. Stone Flesh aura
5. Mystic regeneration
6. Armor of Earth
7. Kinetic Armor
8. Earth Attunement
tidE

for mindclouder u only need skills: 2,3,4,5,8 u can add 6 if the extra degen from burning gets you to a bad situation, not for damage reduction but as an extra enchant for Mystic regeneration.

for skybringer though u will need all.
